Material and Heat Treatment
I prefer working with CPM154CM stainless steel, in 3/16, 1/8, 3/32 " thickness. I both Hollow grind and Flat Grind knives from this material. All of my knives are cryogenically treated and triple tempered with an HRC of 59-61. My knives are of full, taper, hidden tang, and folding designs.
I love working with natural handle materials, but also regularly work with Micarta and other synthetics.
